While traveling through Portugal’s southern tip, Elke encountered an epic heart shape made by the meeting of the natural coastland arches and curved ridges high above the sea. This moment was the inspiration for the Coragem Necklace. More than a trite valentine or cute emoji, Elke’s vision of the heart is that of a resilient, powerful muscle. Created by melting silver over hand-carved charcoal, the process is a dance between sculptural intent and unexpected breakthroughs. The design is slightly off-center but always on-point, with a jeweled centerpiece of your choice. The organic, muscular design will remind you that the heart is the most enduring force of nature.
